Step 8. Organize on Table

Throw away any spoiled food. Cut the clutter, if you don't need it toss it. Recycle and compost any items than can be recycled or composted. The worms are hungry too. Start with the side shelves first.

Step 9. Empty Side Shelves And if Possible Remove Shelving.

Step 10. Clean Side Shelves in Sink, Rinse, And Dry.

Step 11. Fill Bowl With Cleaner And Hot Water. Get Sponge Ready.

Step 12. Bring Bowl to Refrigerator. Clean The Vacant Space With Cloth or Sponge.

Step 13. Return Shelves And Organize Items.

Step 14. Remove Items From Inside Shelf. Organize on Table.

Throw away any unwanted or spoiled items. Remember to recycle or compost when available.

Step 15. Remove Inside Shelves And Drawers.

Step 16. Carefully Remove Glass From Shelves. Clean Shelves And Drawers in Sink. Wipe Dry or Air Dry.

Alternate Step 16. Carefully Remove Glass And Place in Dishwasher.

Carefully remove glass from shelve. Place in dishwasher with other dishes or by it self. Add detergent. Wait. Remove now clean glass. It is nice to save a little time and effort using a dishwasher. I find this method to be safer as I don't need to worry as much about glass breaking while cleaning.

Step 17. While Shelves Are Drying, Clean Inside of Refrigerator With Sponge or Rag, And a Bowl Full of Cleaner.

If some of the gunk is stuck on, it helps to soak it for a while. Use hot or warm water to help loosen stuck on debris. Use a cleaner with a disinfectant to help remove odors, bacteria, and viruses that may be harbored inside.  Use a fingernail on difficult stuck on gunk. Your nail will not harm the fridge surface but is quite effective in lifting off gunk.

Step 18 Dry Inside of Refrigerator.

Use a clean dry cloth to dry out any remaining residue or cleaner. Paper towels are great but wasteful.

Step 19. Replace Shelves, Drawers, and Food.

Step 20. Drain Sink, Relax, Your Finished.
