The Easy Way to Clean a Stainless Steel Pan.

Clean Your Stainless Steel Pan With Ease

I love pan fried fish, potatoes and onions but the mess it leaves behind not so much. The following is an easy way to clean your stainless steel pans, even with the really hard stuck on stains.

Items You Will Need:

  • Baking Soda
  • Water
  • Stove
  • Scrub Brush (not needed, but could come in handy)
  • Towel

Step 1 Put Water in Your Pan

Step 2 Place Pan on Stove Top

Step 3 Pour Baking Soda

on Affected Areas

Step 4 Set Stove to High

Step 5 Bring Water to a Rolling Boil

When you boil water there is science happening. Boiling water is broken down into two different gasses, hydrogen and oxygen. The oxygen gas under the debris is what will help lift up and remove those stubborn stuck on stain on you stainless steel pan. Adding baking soda creates more oxygen and helps scrub away your stains. GO OXYGEN! That's science at work for you.

Step 6 Add more Baking Soda as Needed to Trouble Areas

Step 7 Carefully Drain Water And Rinse Out Pan

Step 8 Wipe Out Pan.

Repeat Steps 1-8 as Needed

If you need to do it a few time to get it all grime off that is okay. Most debris should have come off and your pan should look like new. IF YOU DO NEED TO USE A SCRUB BRUSH BE GENTLE AND BE CAREFUL OF THE BOILING HOT WATER. USE A SCRUBBER WITH AN EXTENDED HANDLE.

Admire Your Like New Pan

Congratulations you did it! Go reward your self. Step back and enjoy your shiny stainless steel pan like it was when it was given to you as a wedding gift many years ago.
